MEG4 Compliant Mooring Ropes from Adamar

Finding the correct products in the local market became difficult after MEG4 requirements emerged in 2018. Conventional products became useless as their production method and certification were obsolete. Customers didn’t know where and what to buy, which was a chaotic situation for everyone. At that point, we must have decided whether to create our physical stock and be a solution partner for our customers or continue as the others did. Then, we chose to act responsibly and started buying the correct products for our stock beginning in 2019.

At Adamar, our unwavering commitment is to meet our customers' needs. Over the past five years, we have been importing mooring ropes and tails, initially focusing on specific types and sizes. However, we have significantly increased our stock diversity and capacity in response to our customers' demands. We have learned from our customers and suppliers how to tailor our stock to meet the complete needs of commercial shipping. This customer-centric commitment is at the core of our business strategy.

A Diversified Stock with Large Numbers

Our diversified and robust stock is capable of meeting any inquiry of tankers, bulk carriers, gas carriers, container vessels, and other types of vessels. We can supply different lengths of mooring wires, PP+PES composite ropes, mixed polyolefin ropes, polypropylene (PP) ropes, and 11 mtr mooring tails ranging from 56 to 84 mm. Besides the conventional ropes, we provide maximum safety for the crew members with Kapa Float Snap back Defender (SbD) ropes.

Our complete stock is manufactured by D. Koronakis SA/Greece and Garware Fibres/India, adhering to the strict manufacturing methods and testing criteria of MEG4, DNV, and LR.

Combination of Mooring Rope Supply with the Other Stores

Adamar understands the financial challenges of delivery in a country as vast as Turkiye. However, our strategic planning and customer collaboration make this a non-issue. By combining your mooring ropes and tails deliveries with those of your other ordered stores, we ensure the most cost-effective solution for you without compromising on quality or efficiency. While you buy top-quality products from us, you pay the minimum delivery charges and contact fewer parties.

What Are the Typical Delivery Ports?

One of our stock points is located in Tuzla/Istanbul, enabling us to make daily deliveries in the Bosphorus, Dardanelles, Istanbul Ports, and the Bay of Izmit. We also have another stock point in Aliaga/Izmir, which allows us to make daily deliveries in the Port of Izmir, Nemrut Bay, and Canakkale. We dispatch our ropes from Istanbul and/or Izmir for the Mersin, BOTAS, Ceyhan, Yumurtalik, and Iskenderun areas.
